The London Ambulance Service was called around 9.30am to London Road.
Police also arrived and the road was closed into the afternoon.
Medics treated two men before taking them to hospital.
The nature of the incident and the condition of the two men is not known at this stage.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further details.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (Thursday 14) at 9.31am to reports of an incident in London Road, Romford, RM7.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews and clinicians in a response car.
“We treated two men before taking them to hospital.”
