Havering Council has approved a new management system for the car park to the rear of St Edward the Confessor Church, The Wykeham Centre.
It comes after Yaseen Laher, linked to an address associated with Parkingeye, applied for planning permission for the “Installation of one column mounted ANPR camera and one associated cabinet”.
At present, it is understood that the car park is a controlled zone under Flashpark.
According to the company website, it depends on photographic evidence sent in to it in order to impose a parking charge notice (PCN).
Under the newly approved system, an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera will ensure parking rules are enforced and abided by in the 24-bay car park.

Full details of the tariffs and their hours of operation will be displayed on new signage to accompany the ANPR system.
