The plan for Conifer House on Southend Road includes 49 one- and two-bedroom units designed for older people.
The development aims to offer communal facilities, parking, and landscaping.
The proposal is part of a series of planning applications recently submitted to the Bromley council.
The council has called on residents to share their thoughts on these developments.
In Orpington, a planning application has been submitted to make changes to a previous approval for a property on the High Street.
The changes include converting a ground floor indoor play area, residential lounge, and lobby into an additional two-bedroom unit.
There are also proposed amendments to the waste storage area, landscaping and play area, and the elevation of the bin storage.
In Chislehurst, Movo House on Green Lane could see several external changes.
These include a single-storey rear extension, a replacement roof, solar panels, and additional cycle parking spaces.
Also in Chislehurst, Daffodil Hill House on Lubbock Road has applied to demolish an existing conservatory and build a single-storey rear extension.
The plans also include rendering as part of the elevational changes.
The proposed changes to both Movo House and Daffodil Hill House fall within the Chislehurst Conservation Area, meaning the character or appearance of the area is desirable to preserve or enhance.
A cricket club pavilion in Chislehurst has also submitted an application for several changes.
These include the installation of roller shutters, a replacement front door, changing a bay window to a bi-fold window, replacement roofing felt, and elevational alterations.
The application also includes repairs and replacement of various timber elements of the structure.
Elsewhere in Beckenham, a proposal has been submitted to demolish garages at the rear of 8-12 Bromley Road and build two two-bedroom and one one-bedroom townhouse.
This development also falls within a conservation area.
In Orpington, The Dormers on Holwood Park Avenue has applied to make amendments to a previous planning permission.
The proposed changes include the erection of a first-floor front extension over a balcony.
In Bromley, a minor material amendment application has been submitted for 26 Pembroke Road.
The application seeks to increase the number of children attending the day nursery/play group from 60 to 100.
The council has invited residents to view and comment on all the proposed developments.
The applications can be viewed on the council’s public access website, with observations to be made in writing to the Assistant Director at the Civic Centre within 21 days of the publication of the advertisement.
The council has reminded residents that, for householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, any representations made about the application will be sent to the Secretary of State, with no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
All applications fall under various sections of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act and Regulations 1990.
The council notes that the character or appearance of the conservation areas is desirable to preserve or enhance.
This comes as part of the council’s ongoing efforts to manage and oversee planning and development within the borough.
The applications represent a broad range of proposed changes, from major new developments to minor alterations.
Each proposal is subject to a period of consultation with the public before any decision is made.
