Pure-bar Bexleyheath, located on Broadway, confirmed the news on social media, telling customers that it will officially close on January 31.
In a post shared online, the venue said: “Yes it’s true! Sadly we are closing.”
Despite the announcement, the bar said it will continue to open on Friday and Saturday nights until the closure, with a final farewell night planned for January 31.
The bar, at 239 Broadway, Bexleyheath, DA6 8DB, recently hosted what it described as its last-ever New Year’s Eve celebration, which staff said was “amazing”.
On January 1, Pure-bar announced that customers still have five more weeks to visit before it closes, signing off the message with a note of “peace and love” to its supporters.
On Facebook, the most recent post about the closure, dated January 4, reads: “Yes, it’s true!
“Sadly, we are closing.
“Join us on 31st January for the last-ever night at Pure.
“Until then, we’ll be partying every Friday and Saturday leading up to the big finish.
“It’s the final countdown!”
