Officers were called to the scene today (October 15) at 1.56am to reports of an altercation between a group of men.
Two men were found in their 40s with head injuries.
They were rushed to hospital by medics, where their injuries were found to be not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police shut the road for nearly eight hours as an investigation took place.
It was taped off from Grasmere Avenue to Uxendon Crescent – near Preston Road station.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 01:56hrs on Wednesday, 15 October to reports of an altercation between a group of men on Preston Road, Wembley.
“Officers attended, alongside the London Ambulance Service, and found two men in their 40s with head injuries. They were both taken to hospital and their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“The road has now reopened and enquiries are ongoing.”
