Emergency services were alerted after the car crashed in Porters Avenue shortly before 4pm yesterday (April 9).
Paramedics arrived and found one person had been hurt – they were released after being treated at the scene.
The police were also in attendance and spoke with people at the scene of the crash.
It is not known if there have been any arrests in relation to the incident.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 9 April) to reports of a road traffic collision in Porters Avenue, Dagenham.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“Our crews assessed one patient at the scene, before releasing them at the scene.”
