The new Popeyes in Sutton town centre will open on March 7, marking the 71st UK location and sixth opening this year.
The chain is preparing to celebrate the launch by handing out free chicken sandwiches and merchandise to the first 100 customers.
The three people at the front of the queue will be given free chicken sandwiches for a year.
Popeyes in Sutton will be located at 137 to 145 High Street, and will bring 59 new jobs to the area.

The business is known for its Louisiana-style fried chicken, which is marinated for 12 hours on-site in a blend of herbs and spices.
Customers can get their hands on the likes of chicken sandwiches, tenders, and wraps.
Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK CEO, said: “We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing Popeyes to Sutton on Friday, March 7.
“Our new restaurant follows the success of our 13 other locations across London and is all about delivering flavour-packed food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
“We look forward to bringing a taste of New Orleans to more areas in London this year.”

The breakfast menu will also be available from 8am on Saturday, March 8, and will run between 8am and 11am every day.
The menu will include British breakfast classics with a Louisiana twist.
Councillor Jake Short, the chair of Sutton Council’s housing, economy and business committee, added: “It is great to see yet another well-known brand like Popeyes coming to Sutton as part of the council’s plans to create a vibrant and sustainable town centre.
“Popeyes will be located in a key site within the heart of the centre that has been refurbished by the council to give it a new lease of life.”
