Popeyes, a fried chicken chain, will open its new store at 47 Mitcham Road, Tooting, on Wednesday, June 11.
To celebrate the opening, the first three people in the queue will win free chicken sandwiches for a year.
The first 50 customers will receive exclusive Popeyes UK merchandise, and the first 100 will get a free chicken sandwich.
Popeyes UK CEO, Tom Crowley, said: “We’ve seen an incredible reaction to our recent London openings as we continue bringing our world-famous Louisiana chicken to more fans across the capital.
“Tooting is a brilliant next step in that journey, and we’re looking forward to serving up our signature New Orleans flavours to the people of Tooting next week.”
The new restaurant will have 35 seats, self-service kiosks, and collection points for orders made via the Popeyes UK website or app.
It will also create 43 new jobs in the area.
With this opening, Popeyes has reached its 86th store in the UK and 21st opening this year.
The chain expects fans of its chicken sandwiches to queue for a chance to win the freebies and recommends people arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Customers can enjoy popular menu items such as the chicken sandwich, hot wings, tenders, and signature chicken wraps.
All of Popeyes’ chicken is marinated for 12 hours in the brand’s signature Louisiana seasoning before being hand-breaded and battered.
Fans will also be able to try the new range of saucin’ boneless and hot wings that come in cheesy garlic parm, BBQ, and buffalo flavours.
Additionally, breakfast will be available from Thursday, June 12, between 8 am and 10 am every day.
The breakfast menu includes a meal deal for £1.99 consisting of a chicken brekkie roll, a Cajun hash brown, and a drink.
This meal is suitable for a halal diet and can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes UK app.
The Tooting store will also have self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made via the Popeyes UK website or app.
