PC Adrian Young, an officer in the British Transport Police, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on April 9 charged with one count of assault by beating.
It comes after an incident involving a 15-year-old girl at Camden Road Overground station on September 22, 2024.
The BTP received a complaint the next month from a witness and it was referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
PC Young was suspended from duty following the incident.
