Phillip Brown, 58, of Walmer Terrace, Plumstead, has been charged with two counts of burglary during an appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court on January 3.
It follows an incident at a hotel in Top Dartford Road, Wilmington, in October 2025.
Kent Police officers were called to the premises after two victims reported items had been taken from their rooms including money, jewellery and bank cards.
The cards were allegedly later used to make fraudulent purchases.
Although Kent Police has not named the hotel, the only hotel in Top Dartford Road is Rowhill Grange & Utopia Spa.
Following an investigation, including reviewing CCTV footage, officers made an arrest on January 2.
Mr Brown was later charged with two counts of burglary, as well as a further burglary offence linked to an incident at the hotel in September 2024.
He was granted conditional bail at court on January 3 and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on January 30.
Rowhill Grange & Utopia Spa has been contacted for comment.
