Epping Forest District Council’s community development and wellbeing team hosted 47 free Play in the Park sessions between July 24 and August 29.
The sessions offered a range of activities including tennis, football and arts and crafts.

A spokesperson said: “Our Play in the Park sessions have had another successful run this summer holidays, bringing free outdoor fun to children across the district.
“A big thank you to everyone for their support in delivering these sessions for our residents.”
The Play in the Park programme will return during the Easter school holidays.
