A large shed that appears to have been modified for some sort of personal use was pictured abandoned across Pike Lane on the morning of May 6.
The Metropolitan Police advised that the council was dealing with the matter (Image: UGC) Almost the entire road was blocked in the path of the large structure, with a single cone marking it out.
Pike Lane is understood to have been closed from the junction with Ockendon Road to just beyond the entrance to Thames Chase Forest Centre.

A picture taken nearby showed a ‘road closed’ sign in place in front of a red and white cordon.
The road was closed whilst the object remained in place (Image: UGC) The fly-tipping has now been cleared from the road, the Recorder understands.
We await a comment from Havering Council.
