The application for the Picture House in Streatham was received by Lambeth Council on November 20.
The plan includes restoring the cinema’s frontage, updating signage and lighting, and other masonry repairs.
The Picture House, at 7 Streatham High Road, SW16, could lose “redundant signage” on its canopy and entrance area.
It also includes the installation of panel cladding to the front of the canopy and above the entrance, as well as a new soffit.
The council received the application on November 20, 2025, and validated it on January 13, 2026, and a decision is currently pending.

The application is listed as “awaiting decision”.
A host of documents related to the application have also been submitted.
The proposals company have also submitted changes for the listed building and for advertising consent.
