The station was evacuated after emergency services were called to the scene today (November 26) at 12.24pm.
Medics arrived in less than four minutes, and he was taken to hospital as a priority.
His condition has been deemed not life-threatening or life-changing.
The Piccadilly line was part suspended, with no service between Hyde Park Corner and King’s Cross St Pancras.
This has since reopened, but there are severe delays ongoing at the time of reporting.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Piccadilly Circus Underground station at 12.25pm today (26 Nov) following reports of casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not life-threatening or life-changing. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.24pm today (26 November) to reports of a person on the tracks at Piccadilly Circus Underground Station, W1J.
“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer and paramedics from our hazardous area response team (HART).
“Our first crews arrived in less than four minutes.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
