The incident happened near the restaurant in Pettman Crescent at around 9.30pm on April 9.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man with injuries to his hand and face.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as non-life changing.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at around 21:30hrs on Wednesday, 9 April to reports of an altercation near a restaurant in Pettman Crescent, SE28.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and a man in his 20s was treated for injuries to his hand and face.
“He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-changing.
“No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries remain ongoing.
