The Metropolitan Police have been stationed in Peckham Hill Street outside Peckham Library since 6.41pm on November 5.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting alongside the London Ambulance Service.

At the scene, a 26-year-old man was found suffering injuries and is in hospital in a serious but non-critical condition.
Photos taken by our reporter at the scene have revealed officers working within the large cordon.

On one side, two officers are manning the scene.

On another, a team of officials have been seen on their hands and knees appearing to search for evidence in connection to the shooting.
There have been no arrests at this stage.
