The London Ambulance Service was called to Pall Mall in Westminster at around 10.30am today (November 25).
Paramedics attended with London’s Air Ambulance and treated a patient at the scene.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
His condition is not yet known and the Met Police have been contacted for further information.
A picture of the crash shows a bus within a cordon around the Guards Crimean War Memorial at the junction of Pall Mall and Waterloo Place.
Witnesses claimed on X that the bus had been involved in the crash.
A second crash reported on Strand at a similar time added to heavy traffic around Westminster as Pall Mall and Cockspur Street were closed.
The roads have since reopened after a closure of around five hours.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.28am this morning (25 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in Pall Mall, SW1Y.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a cycle paramedic, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre by road.”
