The charge follows an investigation prompted by a video shared online, taken at a Palestine Coalition demonstration in Whitehall on October 11.
According to the Metropolitan Police the video captured a man allegedly chanting antisemitic speech.
An investigation into the footage was launched, with officers arresting a 20-year-old man at an address in Oxford days later on October 15.
Samuel Williams was charged today (December 16) with stirring up racial hatred contrary to Section 18(1) of the Public Order Act 1986.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on January 27, 2026.
