The incident happened early yesterday morning (April 4) around 4.20pm on Harrow Road, when a car had been driving away from the police.

Two people who were in the car, a man and woman in their 20s, were seriously hurt.
The man’s injuries are life-threatening and the woman’s are thought to be life-changing.
The police and ambulance service were called and the two were taken to hospital where they continue to be treated.

Detectives are now trying to understand what happened.
The London Ambulance Service was contacted for comment.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or post @MetCC quoting reference CAD 1279/5April.
