Bupa’s Outernet Takeover takes visitors inside the world of their own biology, exploring genomes and DNA and revealing their health impacts.
The installation will be at the Now Trending Gallery until Wednesday, October 1.
The experience provides an opportunity for visitors to understand how DNA influences health and personal characteristics.
Situated close to Tottenham Court Road station, the visual experience at Outernet offers an in-depth look into the human genome.
The installation aims to make the invisible visible, highlighting the potential of personalised healthcare.
A Bupa spokesperson said: “While our genetic make-up influences everything from disease risk to how we respond to medication, most people have never seen what DNA actually looks like.”
The installation is open from 9.30am until 11.30pm on Monday, September 29, and from 7.30am until 11.30pm on the following two days.
The Outernet Takeover aims to give visitors a better understanding of the impact of genetics on individual health, providing insights into the potential of personalised healthcare.
The installation is part of Bupa’s new DNA health test portfolio launch.
