With the weather heating up, plenty of Londoners may be looking for outdoor swimming spots to keep them cool.
South east London is home to several popular outdoor swimming spots like Brockwell Lido, which is one of London’s oldest lidos that has been open for over 80 years.
We’ve rounded up all the outdoor swimming spots you can visit in south east London and everything you need to know:
Brockwell Lido
Where? Brockwell Park, Dulwich Road, SE24 0PA
How much? £9.50 for adults £9.50 and £6 for children
Located in Brixton in Brockwell Park, this much-loved lido has been a part of the south London scene since the late 1930s.

Managed by Fusion, this 50m outdoor swimming pool offers plenty of space to go for a swim, with a full programme of exercise classes as well as a gym, fitness equipment and an on-site café.
Hangloose Adventures Wild Open Water Swimming, Bluewater
Where? Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent, DA9 9SW
How much? £11 per person
Located just behind Bluewater Shopping Centre, Hangloose offers a full range of family-fun activities including outdoor skydiving, zip-wiring and Europe’s largest swing.
But aside from its thrilling activities for adrenaline seekers, Hangloose also offers a cold water swimming spot in the lake surrounding the adventure park for open water swimming.
This cold water swimming spot offers sessions for people of all abilities, from novices to seasoned pros, with a range of swimming distances to do in your 1 hour cold water slot over 150m and 250m, including a 50m access route to and from the course.
But if you need to warm up, hot showers are also available on-site after a bracing cold swim.
Swimmers from the age of 18 upwards can attend, but children under 18 must hold an ASA L1 Open Water Award and should be accompanied by an adult.
Dogs can also accompany their humans too, with Dog Swims priced at £15 a person.
Charlton Lido & Lifestyle Club

Located in Charlton, this lido is famously known as the capital’s second 50m heated outdoor pool at 22 degrees.
Managed by Better, you’ll find a range of swimming sessions including lane sessions bookable weekly.
Afterwards you can head to the terrace for a drink or ice cream and soak up the summer sunshine.
