The notice was issued to Osteria Due Amici in Corbets Tey Road on October 10.
The enforcement document was spotted on Havering Council’s publicly available website, revealing details of the alleged breach.
According to the council, the action has been taken after “the construction of an extension to the front of the building, forming an enclosed seating area”, specifically “without planning permission”.
Osteria Due Amici was contacted by phone for a response.
This paper was advised that the restaurant had been in touch with Havering Council on the day that the enforcement notice was issued.
The restaurant claimed that the issue was “dealt with”, but declined to comment further.
The council has not responded to a request for comment.
It believes the alleged breach of planning control occurred within the last four years.

The front extension referred to in the enforcement notice has been described as an “extensive enclosure and seating area”, which the council says is “excessive and overbearing in its scale”.
Osteria Due Amici has been requested by the planning authority to demolish the extension to the front of the property at 39-41 Corbets Tey Road, removing all associated debris.
The notice comes into affect on November 10, unless an appeal is registered prior to this.
