The latest open day was at Tottenham Green following the first promotion at New River centre earlier this month.
Another is planned on Wednesday (August 27) at Hornsey’s Park Road Lido where youngsters can also go on the hula hoops and have dance and yoga sessions.
It was an unforgettable day of excitement at Tottenham Green with the new water cannon feature for getting a right drenching in the pool.
Other activities on these open days include athletics, basketball, football, junior gym sessions, sports and tug-o’war.
The summer promotions follow a £3.6million backlog of repairs and improvements at Hornsey, Tottenham Green and Broadwater Farm centres which were brought back under direct council management last October. The Hornsey lido had even sprung a leak and was losing thousands of litres of water every day which had to be fixed.
