The Holly Bush in Hampstead, The Three Crowns in Stoke Newington, and The Albion in Islington have all been shortlisted as finalists in the competition.
The Muddy Awards 2025 celebrate local businesses across 35 different counties in the UK.
The awards are divided into a variety of categories, with the three north London establishments vying for the top spot in the ‘Destination Pub’ category.
The Holly Bush, located in the heart of Hampstead, is known for its diverse menu that ranges from classic British pub fare to more innovative, globally-inspired options.
The pub, which has been awarded the AA Rosette for culinary excellence, is popular among locals for its “amazing food.”
One patron raved about their experience, stating: “This has to be one of the best pub lunches in London and certainly the best Fullers pub.
“Had a Sunday roast here for my birthday lunch and it was once again outstanding with amazing food.
“I had the roast lamb and it was cooked to perfection with lovely roast veg.”
Toby and the team at The Holly Bush are now counting on Muddy readers to help them secure the coveted London Award.

Each of these pubs, with their unique charm and appeal, is now relying on the support of the public to win the London Award.
The Muddy Awards are not just about regional recognition.
All regional winners across the 35 Muddy counties will be put forward for the ‘Best of the Best’ National Muddy Awards, providing even more incentive for the public to show their support.
The regional finals for the Muddy Awards 2025 close on April 15 at 1pm.
