A two-tower hotel project in Nine Elms, east of the US Embassy, is progressing after meeting environmental and drainage standards.
The hotels, set to be 11 and 15 storeys tall, will be built on a former industrial site.
They are part of a phased development plan, which also includes a restaurant on the 14th floor of the taller building, basement, cycle parking, plant, public realm, and other associated works.
Application number 2025/2361, registered on July 17, 2025, discharged conditions regarding a contaminated land preliminary risk assessment and investigation and method statement.
The other application, number 2025/3214, was registered on September 30, 2025, and addressed the discharge of a sustainable urban drainage system (SUDS) condition.
Both applications stem from planning permission ref. 2021/4900, granted in October 2024.
These recent developments show that Nine Elms is still powering ahead.
