The incident happened at Newington Gardens in Harper Road at around 9.40pm on April 11.
Officers attended and the 19-year-old was taken to hospital where his injuries were found to be non-life changing.
The Metropolitan Police says a man has been charged with wounding with intent and appeared in court.
