The market, on Francis Road, launches on July 5 and will be open every Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
The council has chosen KERB, which runs food markets in London and beyond, to operate the market.
This will be KERB’s first venture to offer fresh fruits, vegetables, and other produce.
The market will feature 10 produce stalls, with half of them belonging to Waltham Forest businesses.

The stalls will offer a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, cheese and meats, baked goods, and more.
There will also be Syrian, Japanese, and Mexican food on offer, as well as options for children.
One of the street food businesses joining the market is Hanoi Cà Phê.
Gina Lely, founder of Hanoi Cà Phê, said: “Hanoi Cà Phê was born in Waltham Forest in 2015, when I moved into the borough.
“It’s been my home and business community for 10 years now.
“The friendship and support we have received here has been invaluable.
“Francis Road has a great network and high proportion of female-owned businesses, which I feel close to and continue to champion.”
The market will also support businesses through KERB’s free coaching programme.
Within the first year of opening, this programme will support 10 Waltham Forest businesses.
The market’s opening has been supported by London mayor Sadiq Khan’s Summer Streets Fund, which was designed to create more outdoor dining and drinking spots for the public to enjoy during the summer months.
