Police have blocked off New Road since 8.09am today (April 23) after the crash near to the McDonald’s on Ballards Road.
Medics treated a woman and a child at the scene before taking them to hospital.
Their condition is unknown at this time, but the Metropolitan Police has been asked for an update.
New Road is closed over four hours later from Ballards Road to Heathway, but traffic is coping well.
Earlier into the morning, videos showed cars in gridlock as the road was being shut.
Traffic is still being affected by the closure, with buses including the 145, 174, 175 and 287 being diverted from the area.
