Police were called at 10.20pm on Wednesday August 27 to reports of a stabbing at a residential address in Trafalgar Road SE10.
Officers and paramedics attended but a 29-year old-woman, Halyna Hoisan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family is being supported by specialist officers.
On Friday September 5 Yurii Muzyka, 33, of Burlington Road, New Malden, was charged with murder and remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday September 6.
