Mayyil, located at 19 Castle Street in Kingston, is the fourth London branch of the fast-growing brand.
The launch saw people lined up out the door on Saturday, September 27, to take advantage of some special offers.
Ayman Assi, founder of Mayyil, said: “The turnout in Kingston was beyond anything we imagined.

“It shows there’s real appetite for authentic Lebanese street food here, and we’re excited to become part of the community.”
To celebrate the opening, Mayyil gave away more than 300 free menu items during launch hours, including customer favourites like chicken and beef shawarma, Lebanese-style burgers, fajitas, and cheesy sojok.
The restaurant is part of the Zataro Group and was founded in 2022.
Mayyil already operates successful sites in Knightsbridge and Notting Hill, as well as a third location in the UAE.
The Kingston branch marks another step in the brand’s rapid expansion.
Mayyil means “pass by” in Arabic and reflects the brand’s mission to deliver quick, flavourful, and authentic Lebanese food for modern lifestyles.
