Gateway Supermarket, 269 New Cross Road, London SE14 6AR, currently holds a premises licence permitting the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises only.
Kenny Gabriel has applied to the London Borough of Lewisham for a variation to existing premises licence, according to the Public Notice Portal.
In the application, Mr Gabriel is requesting to extend the hours during which alcohol can be sold.
If approved, alcohol could be sold from 8am to 3am, Sunday to Wednesday, and from 8am to 5am, Thursday to Saturday.
The premises will operate as a local supermarket/convenience store selling groceries, household goods, and other retail items, with alcohol sales forming part of the overall retail offer.
Alcohol will be stored and displayed in designated areas of the shop and sold only by trained staff under the supervision of the premises licence holder or designated premises supervisor (DPS).
The application also details the proposed opening hours for the store, which would be 7am to 3am, Sunday to Wednesday, and 7am to 5am, Thursday to Saturday.

Anyone wishing to make a representation about the application must do so in writing WITHIN THREE WEEKS, specifying the ground of opposition.

The notice also reminds applicants that knowingly or recklessly making a false statement in connection with a licence application is a criminal offence, and may result in a maximum fine of £5,000.
