Thames Water has been collaborating with Network Rail for assessments near New Cross Gate Station.
Water supply has been rerouted to maintain flow during the repair process.
Residents in the New Cross area facing water issues today (March 1) are urged to reach out to Thames Water.
Thames Water assured that train services would not be disrupted during the work.
The company stated, “We’ll continue to work with Network Rail to ensure trains can continue to run as normal.”
