The construction and built environment students were given a tour of the Family Welcome Centre site, set to provide critical support to families in Havering.
The visit was part of a collaboration between Havering Council and Bugler Developments, aimed at inspiring aspiring tradespeople with real-world learning opportunities.
The students met project managers and learned about the technical and social impact of the development.
Councillor Paul McGeary said: “It was fantastic to welcome the students from New City College to the site.”
Jeremy Graham, chief operating officer at Bugler Developments, also said: “We’re proud to support the next generation of construction professionals through initiatives like this site visit.
“Engaging with local students and offering them hands-on learning opportunities is central to our commitment to the communities where we work.”
