The art shows a girl in black and white facing a wall, holding six gold spray painted balloons in Clerkenwell Green.
Found on a boarded up public toilet, it holds a striking similarity to the artist’s previous work.

It says: “Verification of authenticity is currently being sought via the approximate channel, the Pest Control Office website, as it is correct procedure.”
It also states that the art will either remain under protection, or be removed or painted over, depending on its authenticity.
A notice near the artwork (Image: Ian Branch) Ian Branch, a 40-year-old IT worker, said he was on his way to work with his colleagues yesterday (April 3) at 9am when he saw it.
He told Newsquest London: “I was very surprised, it caused a buzz around the office with colleagues.
“It’s easily recognisable when you see it, the gold paint above was there for as long as I known.
“I’m hoping it is genuine and that the artwork can be kept safe there as it should be enjoyed by everyone that wants to see it.”
Officially, Banksy has yet to claim the work on his Instagram.
It is unclear whether the artwork is legitimate or not at this time
