I tried a Bridgerton afternoon tea at one of the filming locations where they actually filmed the Netflix series.
The Old Royal Naval College was named by IMDB as the top UK heritage filming location, with many well-known films and TV shows filmed there including Bridgerton.
The iconic Naval College with its twin domes, 18th century Painted Hall and Chapel served as a filming location in the last three seasons of the Netflix hit series.
So it would seem a no-brainer to have an afternoon tea at such a location.

On selected Sundays over the summer months, the college is currently hosting a Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea within the colonnades of the college.
Here you can have afternoon tea looking out over the space where the ton would have milled out in their droves during the season.

The afternoon tea itself features a Lady Whistledown pamphlet and Bridgerton menu, featuring a selection of classic afternoon tea sandwiches and quintessentially British treats.
First we began with a selection of classic finger sandwiches like cream cheese and cucumber, and egg and mayonnaise.

Teas are also unlimited as part of the package, with 11 different teas to choose from, as well as the option to tack on extras like a glass of fizz if you’re celebrating.
As far as themed teas go, the theme wasn’t quite as prominent as some others I’ve visited, but the sweet treats all tasted good regardless and the location really did speak for itself.
Bridgerton Afternoon Tea at The Royal Naval College will be running over the summer with two further dates on August 17 and September 21, with prices starting from £65 for adults and £30 for children.
