Police are searching for James, whose surname has not been shared, following his disappearance.
The teenager was last seen nearly two weeks ago from his home in Leicestershire.
However according to the Metropolitan Police, the boy has links to Bromley and south east London.
He is described as 5’6” with a slim build and short brown hair.
