Police were called to Pickard Gardens on Wednesday (April 30) around 1.30pm.
Paramedics from the air and land ambulance treated 20-year-old man for stab wounds but he died at the scene.
Three arrests were initially made and two injured, with officers explaining that they were all known to the man who died.

A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital and then arrested on suspicion of murder, and remains in custody.
MyLondon has reported that a 25-year-old woman and 41-year-old woman were also arrested and released with no further action.
A 25-year-old woman was taken to hospital where her status is not yet known.
Commander James Conway, who oversees policing for Tower Hamlets and Hackney, told MyLondon: “This was a tragic incident which will have devastating impact for the family and our thoughts are with those affected.
“Our investigation is seeking to understand the events which led to the man’s death.
“I can confirm that those arrested and the two who were injured were all known to the man who died.
“We believe this incident occurred within a residential address and I know our local community in Mile End will be shocked to hear about this investigation.
“My local neighbourhood officers, with support from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, will be present in the local area.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “Detectives are investigating the circumstances of a fatal stabbing in Mile End.
“On Wednesday, 30 April at 13:28hrs police were called to an address in Pickard Gardens, E3 following reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance, who treated a 20-year-old man for stab injuries.
“Sadly, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
“The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers. We await formal identification.
“A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital for injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
“A 25-year old woman was also taken to hospital. We await an update on her condition.”
