The broadcaster, actor, comedian and travel writer, who lives in Gospel Oak, is taking to the stage in support of Queen’s Crescent Community Association (QCCA).
‘An Evening with Michael Palin’ will take place at the charity’s premises in Ashdown Terrace on April 14 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The group’s chief executuve Foyezur Miah said: “Guests will be treated to stories from Palin’s extraordinary life—from Monty Python to global journeys that have taken him from the Himalayas to the Sahara.
“It’s a rare chance to hear first hand from one of Britain’s best-loved storytellers.”
Tickets cost £25 on Eventbrite and include a drinks reception on arrival.
All proceeds will go to QCCA, a charity that supports over 3,000 members of the community through services for older people, young people, and families.
Foyezur said the charity has been a lifeline for so many and continues to offer everything from youth mentoring to meals for pensioners.
“This promises to be a special evening not to be missed,” he added.
