At the start of this weekend on Friday, June 27, the weather begins with pleasant conditions, featuring a mix of sun and clouds.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 27°C with lows of 18°C, accompanied by a gentle breeze.

Saturday, June 28 will see low clouds in the morning, transitioning to very warm conditions as the day progresses. Highs are anticipated to be around 29°C with lows of 19°C, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities.

As Sunday, June 29 approaches, the warmth continues, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to approximately 30°C and 19°C. It’s advisable to stay hydrated and apply sun protection if spending extended periods outdoors.

Then at the start of next week on Monday, June 30, the heat intensifies with plenty of sunshine and temperatures soaring to around 31°C with lows of 18°C. Such conditions may meet the criteria for a heatwave in the region.

The Met Office has indicated an increased likelihood of a hot summer in 2025, with temperatures potentially exceeding typical averages. Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and take necessary precautions during the hot weather.
