The Met Office has forecast a series of very warm to hot days, with little chance of rain and plenty of sunshine.

The week will start on Monday, June 16, with mostly cloudy skies in the morning, gradually clearing to reveal some sunshine.

Temperatures are forecasted to reach a high of 27°C, with a mild low of 16°C overnight.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and wear sun protection when outdoors.

On Tuesday, June 17, a combination of sun and clouds will continue, with the mercury again hitting about 27°C, and dipping slightly to 15°C at night.

With high UV levels anticipated, the public are advised to take appropriate precautions.

Midweek, Wednesday, June 18, will bring sunnier intervals, with temperatures holding steady at 27°C.

The evening will be comfortably warm at around 16°C, with light breezes providing some relief from the heat.

On Thursday, June 19, the sun will dominate the sky, pushing temperatures to a high of 27°C.

The night will remain warm at 15°C.

With clear skies, it’s a good opportunity for evening outings, but staying cool during peak heat hours is recommended.

Friday, June 20, will see continued sunshine, with some high clouds.

Daytime temperatures will be around 27°C, with nighttime lows near 15°C.

The ongoing dry spell may lead to increased pollen levels, potentially affecting allergy sufferers.

The weekend will bring even warmer conditions, with Saturday, June 21, seeing highs of 29°C and a notably warm night at 19°C.

Residents are advised to limit strenuous activities during the hottest parts of the day.

Sunday, June 22, will see the heat peak as temperatures rise to 32°C, marking the hottest day of the week.

With a week of escalating temperatures and clear skies ahead, Londoners are urged to take heat precautions, including staying indoors during peak hours, staying hydrated, and checking on vulnerable individuals.
