An application submitted by Flywheel Operations Limited, trading as McDonald’s, is seeking permission to serve hot food and drink from 11pm to 5am daily at the branch located at 168–172 High Street.
The application is being considered under the Licensing Act 2003, and would, if approved, allow the restaurant to operate as a late-night venue throughout the early hours.
Full details of the application can be viewed on Sutton Council’s online licensing register or at the Civic Offices on St Nicholas Way.
Residents and other interested parties had until December 8 to submit written comments or objections.
The council notes that making a false statement in connection with a licensing application is a criminal offence and could result in an unlimited fine.
