The Metropolitan Police was called to Matthews Close with reports of an incident at 6.10pm on August 24.
Officers located a 34-year-old man suffering stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he remains, with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Robert Hornsby of Matthews Close was arrested at the scene.

The 49-year-old was charged on August 25 with grievous bodily harm with intent, assaulting an emergency worker, affray, possession of an offensive weapon and threats with a weapon.
He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on August 26 and was remanded in custody.
Hornsby is due to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 22.
