Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made more than 24 hours after a man was seriously injured in a fight in Piccadilly Circus.
Officers were called at 6.21am on Thursday (August 21) to reports of an assault outside an Indian restaurant.
Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service found a man with serious injuries, believed to have been assaulted by a group of men.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition is still being assessed.
So far, no arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 06:21hrs on Thursday, 21 August following reports of an assault in central London.
“Officers joined the London Ambulance Service outside a restaurant at Piccadilly Circus, where a man had been seriously injured in an alleged assault by a group of men.
“He’s been taken to hospital where his injuries are being assessed.
“No arrests have as yet been made.
“Enquiries continue.
