Masala Zone at Piccadilly Circus has been taped off by police for most of the day (August 21) after an alleged assault in the early morning, around 6.21am.
According to the Metropolitan Police, a man had been seriously injured.
He has been taken to hospital where his injuries are being assessed.
No arrests have been made.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 06:21hrs on Thursday, 21 August following reports of an assault in central London.
“Officers joined the London Ambulance Service outside a restaurant at Piccadilly Circus, where a man had been seriously injured in an alleged assault by a group of men.
“He’s been taken to hospital where his injuries are being assessed.
“No arrests have as yet been made.
“Enquiries continue.”
