The incident happened near Marble Arch Underground station at 5.05am on April 27.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as non life threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “An investigation is under way after a man was injured in a stabbing in central London.
“We were called at 05:05hrs on Sunday, 27 April after a man in his 30s was found injured at Marble Arch.
“Met officers responded with paramedics and the man was taken to hospital with a stab wound. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“Enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 1387/27Apr.”
