Surrey Police and Surrey Search and Rescue had been searching the riverside near Platt’s Eyot after a man in his 40s was reported missing on Tuesday, August 26.
On Saturday (August 30), a man’s body was recovered near Sadlers Ride in Molesey.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but friends of 41-year-old missing man Darius have been informed.
An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of the man’s death.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “The body of a man has been recovered from the River Thames this afternoon (Saturday, 30 August).
“Surrey Police and Surrey Search and Rescue were searching the riverside near Platt’s Eyot after a man in his 40s was reported missing on Tuesday, 26 August.
“Sadly, earlier today, a man’s body was recovered near Sadlers Ride in Molesey.
“Formal identification is yet to take place, but friends of 41-year-old missing man Darius have been informed.
“An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of the man’s death. However, his death is not being treated as suspicious.”
