Police arrested a man on Monday (January 5) who was considered an “outstanding suspect” for seven offences.
According to the Metropolitan Police, three of which were shoplifting incidents in Northwood, where £4,000 worth of goods were stolen.
He was also arrested for other shoplifting and robbery offences in Brent and Harrow.
The man has since been charged and remanded, but the Met is yet to issue out the man’s name despite the charge.
On Met Engage, a platform for officers to communicate with the public, police said: “Great that he has been caught up with, and our businesses can now have some peace of mind and reassurance, that he has been dealt with.
“This hopefully sends out a firm message to others that think they can come to Northwood to shoplift and think that they will get away with it.”
