Luppolo, in Wanstead High Street, will shut for renovations on January 20.
The pizzeria and cocktail bar is set to get a refreshed seating area and a new look for its bar.
During the two-week long closure, Luppolo will be still be accepting delivery orders via Deliveroo and Uber Eats between 5pm and 10pm.
Vincenzo Cordella, general manager of Luppolo, said him and the team are “all excited and looking forward” to the refurbishment.
He added: “We are going to do a new cocktail menu, new drink list and wine list as well, so [there are] a lot of changes and updates.”

The manager also promised regulars that Luppolo will reopen with a “big offer” to celebrate the refurbishment, but did not reveal what it would cover yet.
Luppolo means hops in Italian, so as well as cocktails, the restaurant stocks craft beer and artisan gin.
The pizzeria opened in 2014, taking over former sports bar Bar Room Bar.
It has three sister sites: Clissold Park Tavern in Stoke Newington, The Regent in Islington, and The Lauriston in Victoria Park.
