David Ganly has a lead role in Signs of Life, which is screening at the Lumiere Cinema in the Mercury Shopping Centre on Friday (September 5).
Ganly and Joseph Millson, the director, will answer questions after the show.
This live event is scheduled to coincide with the film’s national release at 6.30pm.
The film depicts a woman’s journey from the UK to Lanzarote following a traumatic event.
The film previously screened at the Romford Film Festival.
The two short films that formed the foundation of Signs of Life were also showcased at the festival in the preceding two years.
Millson said: “Bringing Signs of Life to the screen has been a true labour of love, and to premiere it here in Romford, where its journey began, feels incredibly special.
“This story is about finding connection in unexpected places, and the support from the Romford Film Festival and the local community has been a wonderful part of that.”
Signs of Life will be screened at cinemas nationwide and at Lumiere Romford throughout the week, but the 6.30 pm screening on September 5 is the only session that will feature the live Q&A.
Tickets for the event can be purchased through the Lumiere Cinema website.
