The London Fire Brigade were called at 9.36am this morning (November 7).
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a blaze at a restaurant with flats above on Lower Addiscombe Road.
The restaurant has not been named.
Crews were deployed from Woodside, Croydon and Beckenham fire stations and the fire was under control by 10.39am.
A small part of the ground floor in the three storey building was destroyed by fire.
The Brigade has since confirmed the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
